Boy Scout Troop 316 are roasting whole chickens this saturday at Ridgecrest Baptist(1971 Deese Road, Ozark) as a fundraiser for summer camp. Cost is $6.00 each and can be picked up between 10am -12noon. First Come, First Served. - we have 60 extra chickens! |

There will be a charity benefit for Raechel Buchanan at Applebee's in Ozark on Thursday, Nov 3 from 6-8pm. She will have earrings, hair bows and custom-made name signs for sale.
Raechel has been diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease called Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome. This causes her blood to coagulate abnormally and produce uncontrollable blood clots that travel through her heart into her lungs, which cause pulmonary embolisms and infarctions.
She has survived approx. 50 pulmonary embolisms of which any could be fatal, but also causes irreversible damage to her lung tissue. Since only 2-4% of the population in the world have this condition, there is virtually no research being conducted.
Her body has rejected all other medications for blood clots. The medication her doctor required her to be on is only partially covered by insurance. Her out-of-pocket expense is over $3000.00 per month.
Please come to Applebee's and start your Christmas shopping early for a good cause. There will also be raffle tickets for $5 each. There have been several items donated by local merchants such as a $400 necklace from Harbin's and a $300 ring among other items. Tickets can be purchased Thurs night.

Children's Annual Mission Yard sale November 18 -19 beginning at 8:00am at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. The church is located at 1971 Deese Road in Ozark.

The DCCS volleyball team will have a fundraiser tonight at the Ozark Dairy Queen on Hwy 231. Come out between 5pm-8pm for dinner and/or a DQ treat to help support our team. The funds raised will be used to pay referees and purchase needed equipment for the team. |

Boy Scout Troop 316 of Ridgecrest Baptist Church will have a car wash this Saturday, August 25 from 9:00am - 2:00pm in front of O'Reilly Auto Parts. Please come out and support scouting in ozark.
