About an hour or two ago (this evening) I had supper there; the Special Jr Whopper with chicken pieces ($3.99). If anyone knows a higher manager/ owner please pass this along.

So while normally I would complain to the on duty manager this time I feel he was the problem, so allow me rant on and hope this finds its way to the right people. The young fellow wearing a different colored shirt and a bun on HIS head (I'm only guessing he was this evenings manager?) took my order. He failed to give me a receipt so I asked for one, he said he'd get it as soon as he got some more machine paper; I said OK.

In the meantime I observed on their tv some totally inappropriate material for any place place with kids around. By inappropriate I mean it was a club scene with totally nude women dancing (COVERED OVER WITH SMALL FUZZ SPOTS LIKE THEY OFTEN DO). I wasn't listening so don't know what words they may have been using, but come on, it was a club scene with (somewhat obscured) nudity. Now I'm not a prude, meaning I don't mind it for me but had there been any children inside (there weren't) there might have been a call to the police. I spoke with the tall young black gal (the only one up front this time) and she immediately changed the channel and apologized without questioning it.

Again I'm back at the counter and still waiting for my order when Mr Manager again appeared and he asked the cook if my order with the heavy tomatoes (extra 25 cents, plus I also added cheese for an extra 30 cents - big spender) was ready - the cook said yes. He then asked the cook which one it was and a bit later grabbed one from the rack for my consumption. At this time I again asked for my receipt and got the same answer - to which I said I'd retrieve it once I finished my meal.

I got to my table and it was the wrong one, only one poor thin tomato. I took it back and as Mr Manager wasn't up front I asked the tall black girl to have the cook simply add tomato - which she, and he gladly did. However during this time I noticed a single cigarette and lighter on the counter, next to the cash register. I pointed it out to the tall gal but she said nothing.

Now I enjoyed my meal, but the stories not over. Once complete I returned to the manager and asked for a receipt. Maybe thirty min. later I received the same story. I asked for a written receipt and he said OK, but the tall black gal (standing nearby) told him the paper rolls were right here (in a box under their assembly area) and she offered him one. He said something I didn't hear and then the tall gal went to the machine and in about 15 seconds swapped out the roll of paper. Then she gave me my receipt/ $4.95, with a polite thank-you.

In summary, I believe the tall black girl should replace the fellow with the bun on his head. She did a fine job of making things right while the guy only gave excuses.

I wish I knew the owner, I'm sure they'd be interested in hearing this. If you know them please pass this along.

Guess I should end this on a positive note. From there I went to DQ, for a chocolate cone (um-umm-good).

The young gal working behind the counter had a smile as big as the wiregrass, so I flirted for a min. or so.
While enjoying my cone I wished I was a teenager again.

Followup: I decided this was too important to not notify the proper folks, so this morning I went in and asked for the big manager or the owners. I was told the big manager would be in later that day. I asked them to tell him that I'd be back in the afternoon with something he needed to hear.

I did, and he did. He said all the right words so I left happy.
